Continental Diesel Engines
Continental Diesel is in every respect, the leading brand for certified kerosene piston aircraft engines in general aviation: the longest experience, most engines in operation, best tracked liability, most diesel flight hours and the largest service network for diesel aircraft engines.
The Continental Diesel engines are certified according to the requirements of FAA and EASA and additional further 60 countries. They are technically advanced diesel engines which can operate on auto-diesel (DIN 590) and especially with the standard aviation fuel kerosene (Jet Fuel, Jet-A). Continental Diesel engines can be used both as a retrofit and for factory new aircraft.

Delta Hawk
On the average mission, a jet-fueled DeltaHawk engine is up to 40% more efficient than an Avgas engine—improving range, increasing available payload and lowering cost of ownership. Multiple redundancies increase safety. And operating with widely available jet fuel, you can fly anywhere in the world without the worry of finding places to top off. But we didn’t stop there. Our engine’s small, aerodynamic profile allows an elegant cowl design with less drag, further increasing fuel efficiency. To do that, we literally turned the engine upside down. And ended up doing the same to an industry.
